Honest limits
Khata never certifies accounts, never files returns and is not a substitute for a qualified accountant. It prepares and organises books for professional review.
What Khata does
Day-to-day records pile up uncategorised, so bookkeeping becomes one painful session long after anybody remembers what a particular payment was for. These are the six things Khata does about that.
Accepts bills, receipts and statements as they arrive, not in one end-of-period rush.
Pairs each document with the payment or receipt it actually belongs to.
Applies the same category rules every time, so the books stay comparable.
Holds what it cannot match and asks you, rather than filing it as miscellaneous.
Checks recorded entries against statements and lists every difference it finds.
Exports the books, the documents and the open queries as one organised set.
What you see
A ledger view of categorised entries, each linked to the document behind it, a reconciliation panel listing differences, and a queries list of items waiting on your answer. One action assembles the whole handover pack for your accountant.
